During Guru Bee’s visit to Los Angeles, California last week, he was able to meet and interview Master John Machado. He is the Brazilian National/World Champion. He has also acted in many Hollywood movies, the most recent one being “Red Belt”.

Master John’s studio is in Culver City and Torrance, California where a number of professional fighters come and train under him from around the world.

Guru Bee was fortunate to have met and interviewed Master John. According to Master Bee, "Master John is a very genuine martial artist with extensive knowledge, understanding and respect of not only his art but all different types of martial arts."

Master Bee has been inspired by the words of Master John. According to Master John, his uncle realized that the Brizilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) was slowly disappearing from the martial arts world. Therefore he decided to come to the United States of America and introduce the B JJ which slowly but surely gained huge popularity. His uncle's effort and sacrifice had paid off. In the same way he encouraged Guru Bee to keep working on spreading his Gorkha Fighting style which one day may become world renowned.
