Martial Arts Museum Honor Awards 2014

Last week Sept. 6 master Shuny Bee attended the Martial Arts History Museum Honor Awards with his student Alex Smith at the Holiday Inn in Burbank, CA. He received an award for Excellence in Martial Arts. The award honors those that have made a significant contribution to the culture of martial arts. There were masters of many different styles in attendance, making for an eclectic event. There was a martial artist and actor that starred as one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the most recent movie, a 5-time world champion MMA fighter, and masters that have been teaching martial arts for decades. There were great inspirational speeches from everyone who won the awards.
Master Bee also had an opportunity to give a speech. During his speech, Master Bee paid tribute to his inspiration, Bruce Lee, and gave an account of his journey from Nepal to USA, always following where martial arts would lead him. Master Bee was thrilled to meet so many great and generous martial artists from all over the world and movie celebrities and stuntmen from Hollywood.
