 Shuny Bee Day

Shuny Bee Day at the Martial Arts History Museum in Burbank

The Martial Arts History Museum will celebrate “Shuny Bee Day” on March 21, 2015. Shuny Bee, master of martial arts, action film producer and actor will be on hand to meet all guests.

It has been a long road from Nepal to Los Angeles. Along the way, Bee has gained experience in the Bollywood film, television and advertising industry. He was an actor in many films and TV shows before he even set foot in the United States.

After more than a decade as a successful martial arts instructor with two locations in the Portland, Oregon area, Bee decided to take his career to the next step and moved his family to Los Angeles. His independently produced film The Gorkha Protector won an award at the annual International Action on Film Festival and was officially screened in Los Angeles in December 2014 at the Downtown Independent Theater to great acclaim and an extended run.

He is currently collaborating on a new film project that is going to be even more exciting and action-packed than its predecessor.

There will be a slide show detailing Bee’s extraordinary life and career. The images included with narration by museum founder and president Michael Matsuda promise to be fascinating and even funny. Then, a happy hour-style cordial with wine and delicious Nepali snacks will precede a special screening of his smashing hit The Gorkha Protector.

This is your chance to spend an evening with a living legend of Bollywood and a rising Hollywood star! Don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to see, hear and even speak with Nepal’s biggest sensation since Mount Everest!

4:00 – 7:00 p.m.

$10 for adult and 6-15 yr old kid $5 at the door. All proceeds will go to support the nonprofit Martial Arts Museum.
